This is a very serious matter. We must be careful who we get advice from and what sort of advice it is. I noticed that only a handful of persons will give you the advice you truly need. A lot of the advice out there is stained for so many reasons ranging from people offering advice from a selfish point because they have an ulterior motive, they are jealous, they don’t have the competence to offer that advice because of the depth of the matter etc. It is only very few persons that will offer a genuine advice devoid of any of these aforementioned issued.

The thing is, many persons run with these advices not knowing they are living the wishes and lives of other people. It takes a discerning mind to know when an advice is best for them. Why there is a lot to talk about on this issue of asking for and receiving advice, a safe bet is to discern the advice from some standpoint -

1. Does this advice represent the best option for me

2. Does the person giving this advice have any ulterior motive.

3. Is the person giving the advice knowledgeable enough to give an advice of such depth

   This list might not be conclusive but it helps to sift out any advice that is stained.
