This was the admonition Apostle Paul gave to Timothy his spiritual son in 2 Timothy 4:5.

5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Fulfill your ministry is to fully carry out the ministry God has given. If Paul would admonish Timothy so then it shows not many will fulfill their ministry. They many carry out their ministry but not to full extent God intended. Paul’s concern wasn’t for Timothy to carry out his ministry but it was for him to fully carry it out; leaving no stone unturned.

This to me gives an insight into the personality of Apostle Paul. He is someone that loves excellence. Why settle when you can achieve much more. The same spirit he has was what he was imparting into his son. Don’t just do ministry, do it to the full capacity. No average mindedness here.
