1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Just as the scripture above, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. This should be the posture of the believer in every thing. It is a posture of thanksgiving. It is a far departure from the murmurings that happened in the desert as the children of Israel journeyed to the promised land. As pilgrims on earth journeying to our eternal home, we are admonished by the scripture to give thanks. Thanksgiving is not optional in our walk with God, will it be easy to always give.. probably not but we are enjoined by the scriptures to give thanks.

LORD, I give You thanks for everything. Amen.
