Iron Sharpeneth Iron

The title of today’s article is taken from the scriptures, Proverbs 27: 17

**17 **Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

This verse underscores the importance of having quality friendship. There is a robbing off in every relationship; the quality of a person can in essence be traced to their friends. If we desire to be or remain in the cutting edge of excellence then we must be very intentional with the quality of persons we call friends. So many people have been influenced by their friends into becoming best versions of themselves likewise the opposite is the case in some situations. We cannot leave the position of “friend” to chance…it must be a conscious decision.
