Th Christian Life

Reading through the scriptures one thing that is clear about the people that took their relationship with God seriously was that - they were NOT lazy persons. In fact looking at their journeys and victories shows that they were hardworking.

Acts 1:13-14, tells us that the disciples continued at the upper room.

**13 **And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

**14 **These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:10 mentioned that he laboured:

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

It is very clear that despite the anointing of God upon these men they still laboured and poured themselves in God’s work.
